Radio stations often use Shazam as an indicator on a songs popularioty. So we REALLY want to Shazam Taeyongs Music so it is more likely to be played and noticed.

Shazam App

1) Install the App

2)Have New Taeyong music playing

3)Open the app && DO NOT LOG IN

4)Press on the Shazam Button & let it listen

5) Hold down the button for auto-shazam

1 Shazam is counted every 24 hours
Clear Data for Multiple Shazams in 24 hours (Can only do this on android)

You can use both the app & Snapchat - Both count separately.

Snapchat

1) Install Snapchat App

2)Open the app and follow the steps to create an account (Email & # required)

3)Have New Taeyong music playing

4)Go to the "Camera" feature and press down on screen to identify song.

5) Go to the "scan" option and scroll down to the music button & hold this button down until desired song pops up.

How do I increase a song’s Shazam count and ranking?

Directly, by using the Shazam’s app

- Using a song in Tiktok or Reels is a good way to do this. As a rule, songs that do well on Tiktok also do well on Shazam
- Playing the song at your workplace or at parties
- Requesting the song on radio

How do I track how well a song is doing on Shazam?

The Shazam app shows you the total number of Shazams for each song
If a song appears on various Shazam charts, it can be tracked at their website: https://www.shazam.com/charts

Shazam on iOS

Shazam is available as an app on iOS devices (download on App Store).
If you would like Shazam to count to your local charts, remember to turn on location permission
Repeat Shazams of the same song will only count once every 24 hours on iOS devices.

Shazam on Android

Shazam can be downloaded on the Play Store on Android devices
Again if you would like Shazam to count to your local charts, remember to turn on location permission
As long as you clear data after every Shazam, it is possible to Shazam the same song repeatedly on the same day for Android devices
If you do not clear data, repeat Shazams on the same song will only count once per 24 hours

Shazam on Snapchat

You can Shazam songs as an inbuilt Snapchat app feature
Within the app, press and hold your finger on the camera screen to scan music playing in the background
Shazam done on Snapchat will count once every 24 hours.
(Other kpop fandoms report this counts separately from the Shazam app. So on an iPhone you can Shazam a song once per 24 hours on Shazam app + once per 24 hours on Snapchat)

Shazam on Chrome

Shazam is available as a browser extension for Chrome. It can be installed through the Google Chrome Web Store.
When using Chrome, Shazam gets the audio from the current browser tab (NOT speakers or microphone), so the song needs to be playing in-tab when you click the Shazam icon.
After Shazaming, remember to click on DELETE ALL (to clear data) before Shazaming the same song again. Otherwise your repeat Shazams will not count separately!
