Why? 

 

Scener's watch parties allow one host to manually stream on the behalf of 11 other YouTube accounts at the same time. This is particularly useful for those who may not be fully available to stream themselves in the critical first 24 hours of Taeyong's music video release on YouTube. 

 

Both Scener and YouTube themselves have confirmed that views collected using this method do count. Through testing we have also confirmed that this is an effective method.

 

How? 

 

On your pc, create an account and install the Scener Chrome extension through scener.com (you must use Chrome). If you live in the USA and use an iPhone, you can also use the Scener app available on the Apple App Store.

 

As a participant: Follow the invite link given by the host to join the watch party. You will not have to do anything else as the host will manually stream on your behalf.

As a host: On scener.com click "Host a watch party". Select YouTube as the streaming service, and invite participants by sharing the link. You can then manually stream on YouTube like how you would normally do yourself.
